Michelle Cowart graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Therapeutic Recreation, but the best part of her education was taking Brandon Sanderson’s creative writing class. She loves paddle boarding, baking, playing board games, and watching musical theater. She recently got into gardening because her friend planted a load of flowers in her yard and told her not to kill them. She has published a fantasy novel, Borrowed Bones, on Kindle Vella and three holiday romances under the pen name Ellie Linrose. She lives in Washington State with her husband and five kids.
